During the walk our experienced local Amsterdam tour guides will tell you all about Amsterdam's history till present day developments. You also hear about slanting houses, historic gables, coffee shops and the enormous amount and variety of (parked) bikes in the city :-) In short all those things you may notice when you first arrive in Amsterdam. At the end of the walkingtour you visit (during opening hours) an old medieval courtyard.
After the walking tour you go on board of a comfortable round trip boat for a 1,5 hour private boat tour through the famous ring of Amsterdam canals. Of course extensive background information is given about the canals, water management, small boats, bigger house boats and many Amsterdam highlights such as The VOC Ship, Western Church, Anne Frank house, Opera & Ballet House, the Skinny Bridge etc.
During the cruise drinks from the local bar (beer, soft drinks, wine) and nuts are served.
