We worked with Jessica when planning our cycle tour and she got us just what we were looking for - a visit away from the hustling city, to see the beauty that is Amsterdam. Our tour guide was just great, Stella's attention to detail and easy going way, made for a most pleasurable ride. Cannot say enough good things about the folks @ Local Experts - we asked for something other than the usual city tour, and got just that! More than two interesting, entertaining and informative hours!! You get to parts of Amsterdam that you wouldn't normally walk to. It was very relaxed walking and listening to the guide. Also the organization by Local Experts was spotless, to the point without surprises. Don't hesitate to book a guide for say 2 hours and you really experience the city in a completely different way! Last Sunday we had a wonderful cycletour along Amsterdam's waterfront guided by Stella. For us lesser known parts of Amsterdam. The tour was informative, interesting and very enjoyable. To have all these new developments and architecture along the way explained to you is very nice. It really makes the city so much more lively. Beautiful and (for us) unexplored parts of Amsterdam. We really enjoyed the architecture excursion through the Eastern Docklands. Our group of architects, urban planners, traffic experts and engineers had an informative but also very pleasant afternoon. The Ob6sions trio played during the 1000-delegate welcome reception of the ECCB 2016 conference in the Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, on September 4th, 2016. The trio (Jeroen van Helsdingen, keyboards, Sven Schuster, acoustic bass, and Victor de Boo, drums) under the leadership of Victor de Boo managed to blend seamlessly with the atmosphere of the reception, performing a very diverse selection of jazz-rock pieces. They played with great elegance and poise, going through all the keys and using different rhythms. Brilliant support was delivered by de Boo on the drumkit, whose sophistication and subdued showmanship captivated the audience. As one of the delegates put it: “Why were people talking through the great jazz music during the reception?”
